Tips About Pads & Backing!

Rugs placed directly on a hard surface without the correct pad wear faster.A rug pad should not be visible under the rug. Use a rug pad to prolong the life of the rug, protect the floor under the rug, and in some cases keep the rug in place. Come in and let us specify the correct pad for your rug and the floor it's over.

Rug Pads For Every Application:

1. Fiber

–Extends life of your rug by absorbing impact from foot traffic.
– Adds another layer of sound absorption to the room.
– Permits air flow through rug for more efficient vacuuming.

2. Non-slip Fiber

– All of the above with a layer of synthetic rubber on one side to keep rug in place.

3. Foam

–Excellent non-slip characteristics for smaller rugs over hard surface floors.

4. Cleated non-slip foam

– Same characteristics as non-slip foam but has one side cleated for rugs places over existing carpet.

We can cut rug pads to your rug’s size and shape in our factory, or you
can call us with the size and in most cases it will be ready the same day.

Backings

Backings are attached directly to the rug and sewn in on the edges.

Non-Skid Backings - are very effective at holding a rug in place when there is not sufficient weight (Furniture) on it to do so. Great for doormats, hall runners, and entry rugs.
